Fiona Back in the Hotseat with Dransfield's Backing

Barnsley based retail property specialist Dransfield Properties Ltd is sponsoring GB bobsleigh driver Fiona Harrison for the second year running.

Fiona, aged 29, is the driver in the Great Britain women’s two man bobsleigh team and hails from Hoyland near  Barnsley - just a few miles from Dransfield Properties' head office.

She’s looking forward to this next season with the Europa Cup coming up next month and is hopeful of being in the hotseat for the 2014 Winter Olympics which takes place in Russia.

As a bobsleigh driver Fiona travels at speeds of up to 90 miles an hour. Later this month she is due to compete in the European Cup – with her sights set on the 2014 Olympics on the Russian Black Sea.

This year’s sponsorship has enabled Fiona to upgrade her runners which she’s hoping will help keep her ahead of the competition - everyone at the company is keenly following Fiona’s progress.
