Costa serves up a fresh new look at Market Cross in Selby

Costa Coffee at Market Cross has reopened following an exciting refresh, becoming the first Costa store in the North to showcase the brand’s new design.

The popular coffee shop reopened its doors after being closed since the start of the month while the refresh was completed, bringing a modern new look alongside an enhanced food offer for customers.

As part of the new upgrade, the Market Cross store now offers additional choices, including freshly baked pastries prepared on site. Updated counter display fridges also allow the store to offer an even wider selection of treats, including cheesecakes.

To mark the reopening, neighbouring independent retailer Elaine’s Cards and Gifts created a special balloon display for the Costa team.

Among the first customers through the doors was 95-year-old Ron, a well-known local and daily visitor to the store. The team were delighted to welcome him back and treated him to a complimentary coffee to celebrate the occasion.

The refresh comes at a significant time for Market Cross, with the centre now fully occupied following the arrival of specialist health food retailer Grape Tree last month, alongside further new additions set to open on New Lane in the coming weeks.
