Part‑Time Accountant – Dransfield Properties / Sandersons Department Store

Location: Fox Valley, Stocksbridge (Head Office)
Hours: Part‑time (flexible)

Award‑winning South Yorkshire‑based property company Dransfield Properties is seeking a part‑time accountant to join our friendly head office team at Fox Valley, Stocksbridge. This role will primarily support the accounts for our retail brand, Sandersons Department Store, while also working closely with colleagues across the wider Dransfield group.

Dransfield Properties develops, owns and manages a mixed commercial portfolio, including retail, office and leisure space. Joining our small, hands‑on finance team offers a fantastic opportunity to gain varied exposure across different areas of the business in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role

You will play an important part in ensuring the smooth running of financial processes, supporting both the department store and group operations. Responsibilities include:

Daily accounting entries and bank reconciliations
Processing purchase invoices, payments and supplier queries
Supporting monthly management accounts
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with budgeting and reporting
Liaising with store management and internal teams
 

About You. We’re looking for someone who is:

Experienced in finance or accounts 
Accurate, organised and confident working independently
Proficient in accounting software and Excel
A strong communicator with a proactive approach
