Brother and sister team Michelle Sykes and Tim Forshaw have expanded their successful deli business at Poulton’s Market Hall by opening up a brand new tea room at the centre serving up their fantastic locally sourced food.
Forshaws is already well know in the town for its fantastic range of home made pies, delicious sandwiches and cooked chickens as well as a mouthwatering array of cakes and buns.
Now Michelle and Tim have branched out to take over the café at the Market Hall which has a great new look and a delicious menu for Poulton’s shoppers.
Michelle will be cooking up tea for two, toasties and light lunches as well as as the traditional full English breakfast and Foreshaws delicious pies and quiches as well as the famous Uncle Toms Sausage recipe.
Michelle said: “Its been hard work getting the new café ready but it looks great and we’re delighted to be open for business now.
“There is a lovely friendly atmosphere at The Market Hall and opening Lily’s Tea Room seemed a natural step alongside the deli side of the business. We’re delighted to be welcoming our customers to our new tea room.”
Development Surveyor at Dransfield Properties, James Shepherd, said: “Forshaws is already well known and very popular at the Market Hall so we’re delighted that Michelle and Tim have taken on the café. Its looks great and we’re confident Lilys Tea Room will be a great addition to the line up.”
The company also offers a full outside catering service as well as lunchtime sandwich deals.
