Dransfield Properties has appointed Peter Taylor as Director of Construction, a new post created to deal with the company’s rapidly expanding investment portfolio.

Peter will oversee all of the architects, structural engineers, quantity surveyors and contractors who work on Dransfield developments to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.  His first task will be to deliver the next phase on the Tunstall regeneration scheme in Stoke-on-Trent, followed by the remodelling of the Market Cross Shopping Centre in Selby and the delivery of new headquarters for West Lindsey District Council in Gainsborough.

Pete joins Dransfield from retailer Wilkinson, where he has been Contracts Manager for the past nine years in charge of procurement and new store openings the length and breadth of the country.

He lives in Bolton on Dearne, Barnsley, with his wife and family.

Peter said:  “I’m delighted to be joining Dransfield Properties and excited about the number of projects which I will be overseeing.  I’ve worked with Dransfield Properties for many years where Wilkinson has opened stores within their developments, and it will be a new challenge for me to work for a developer rather then a retailer.

“I am particularly interested in working in the company’s regeneration schemes where the company is delivering very high quality designs.”

Mark Dransfield, Managing Director of Dransfield Properties, added: “Peter’s thorough knowledge of the construction industry will be a huge asset and will help us to grow the business.”
