Home Bargains - one of the fastest growing discount stores in the country - has opened a brand new outlet in Poulton-le-Fylde, developed by Dransfield Properties Ltd.

The £500,000 refurbishment of the former Market Hall building in the town has created 40 new jobs in Poulton.

The new 12,000 sq. ft. store opened for business on Saturday November 23rd with a ribbon cutting by the Mayor and Mayoress of Wyre.

Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: “We’re excited to be opening our first store in Poulton. This is a great great location for us – we’re thrilled to be in a position to offer local people top branded goods at exceptionally low prices.”

The store is in the former Market Hall building in the town centre which closed earlier this year and has undergone a refurbishment project to accommodate the brand new Home Bargains.

Amanda Holmes from Dransfield Properties said: “We are delighted that Home Bargains have opened their new store in our development at Poulton.

“Our company has worked with Home Bargains in various locations across the country for nearly 20 years and it is a relationship we value as a company.

“We are very pleased the work has now been completed allowing the firm to open their latest new store in Poulton on schedule and in time for Christmas.”

The new Home Bargains store in Poulton is one of around 350 others across the UK. The company prides itself on aiming to sell top brands at the lowest prices.
