Five Valleys to launch Home of Vintage – Gloucestershire’s biggest hub for pre-loved, retro and creative finds

17 November 2025

A brand-new destination for vintage lovers is coming to Stroud! Home of Vintage, launching at Five Valleys, will bring together Gloucestershire’s finest vintage, retro, and pre-loved traders — all under one roof.

Set to become the biggest vintage space in the region, Home of Vintage will transform the former Wilko's unit in the main mall into a vibrant marketplace packed with character, creativity, and community spirit.

From retro fashion and antique treasures to upcycled furniture, vinyl records and handmade crafts, it will be the ultimate go-to destination for anyone passionate about vintage style and sustainable shopping.

And the best part is that trader applications are now open! Five Valleys is calling on local independent traders, makers, and creatives to be part of this exciting new space.

Whether you specialise in vintage clothing, restored furniture, retro décor, or unique handmade items and artwork, this is your chance to showcase your business in one of Gloucestershire’s busiest retail and leisure destinations.

More than 20 bespoke units are currently being created, offering a variety of sizes, affordable rents, and flexible lease terms to suit all kinds of traders — from seasoned professionals to exciting new start-ups.

Styled in the same vibrant design as the current Food Hall — complete with coloured shutters — the new vintage hall will be open Thursday through to Sunday, creating a lively weekend destination. Murals, artwork, and retro sounds will add to the atmosphere, making it a truly immersive experience for shoppers and visitors alike.

Traders can register their interest today at vintage@fivevalleysstroud.co.uk – spaces are limited!

Five Valleys is already home to the centre’s fabulous Food Hall with a great line up of street food from around the world. It also houses a medical centre, town library, Vue Cinema, and Stroud Bowl. Now the eagerly anticipated Home of Vintage will create another fabulous attraction.

Gloucestershire has long been known for its love of all things vintage — from its bustling markets to its thriving community of independent sellers. Home of Vintage will build on that proud tradition, offering a high-footfall platform for both new and established traders to shine.

Mick Grundy, Centre Manager at Five Valleys, said: “We can’t wait to launch Home of Vintage here at Five Valleys. Stroud has such a rich creative and vintage heritage, and this space will celebrate that spirit while supporting a new generation of independent traders and makers in the heart of town.”

“Home of Vintage is an exciting next step for Five Valleys. It strengthens our commitment to Stroud town centre, creates new opportunities for local traders, and adds another layer of vibrancy to the mix of retail and leisure our visitors already love – it will perfectly complement our Food Hall.”
