Arcade Centre Manager Medi joins the panel at industry conference

The Sanderson Arcade Centre Manager Medi Parry was invited as a panelist and guest speaker at the annual Shopping Centre Management Conference and Exhibition held earlier this month.

Medi was invited onto the panel at the event held in Birmingham on March 20th after being named Centre Manager of the Year in last year’s SCEPTRE Awards which are organised to recognise the best practice and best people in the industry.

She became Centre Manager at Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth in January 2012. The centre is owned and managed by the South Yorkshire based retail property developers Dransfield Properties Ltd.

Medi joined colleagues from other parts of the country to discuss the challenges within the retail sector as well as building good tenant relationship. 

Organised by Shopping Centre Magazine and the British Council for Shopping Centres the high profile annual event attracts around 450 people working within the industry, with presentations and discussions aimed at giving practical insight and information.

Medi said: “I have attended the event in the past, and it was great to have the opportunity to share some of our own experiences in Morpeth with colleagues from other parts of the country.

“We always find the conference to be a great event, we work in a dynamic industry and it’s a fantastic opportunity for everyone to share ideas.”
