London to Paris - day two
London to Paris - day two
8 June 2007
Day two
The team enjoyed the breathtaking scenery of Northern France during the second day of their challenge, but they are now facing up to the enormity of the task ahead, feeling tired and suffering from aching limbs in pursuit of their charitable quest.
But the team are in good spirits and are having an early night to prepare for the most gruelling leg of the journey yet. They will face challenging inclines, not to mention the crazy Paris boulevards. As anyone who’s been to Paris will tell you, the roads are difficult enough to negotiate within the safety of car, let alone when exposed to the elements on a bike!
Come on Boys - we know you can do it!
The team are scheduled to arrive at the Eiffel Tower late afternoon on Saturday. They will be exhausted, and no doubt sore, but they will have raised thousands of pounds for very deserving causes. If you’ve not sponsored them yet, make a pledge via Jackie.helliwell@dransfield.co.uk
Unfortunately, we are unable to bring you pics of day two due to technical difficulties, but keep watching!
