Driffield - Work Completed!

NEW WILKINSONS STORE COMPLETED IN DRIFFIELD!

The contractors Tolent have now completed work on the £2 million Wilkinsons store in Driffield, East Yorkshire, which has been brought forward by Dransfield Properties Ltd.

Following the Practical Completion of the development the building has now been handed over to Wilkinsons to be fitted out in preparation for opening around Easter time.

The new  outlet  covers 20,000 sq ft – of which 14,000 sq ft is at ground floor – on this prime site in the town on Middle Street South.

It’s expected the new store will bring at least 40 new jobs to the area.

The store has been built on a former garage which has now been relocated – its position, in the busy shopping area make it an ideal location for a new Wilkinsons store.

James Howson, development surveyor for Dransfield Properties Ltd said: “We are delighted to have completed the building work on the new development in Driffield and have now handed the store over to Wilkinsons who are working on the fitting out in preparation for opening.

“We are confident this will be a very well received development in Driffield and well used in the area. Wilkinsons are a well known and popular national retailer and their commitment to this development shows the confidence in the area.”
