Dransfield Properties Field Team of Runners in Leeds Abbey Dash

A team of runners from Barnsley based Dransfield Properties Ltd joined 8,000 runners in the Leeds Abbey Dash at the weekend.

The 15 strong team covered the 10k route from the city centre out to Kirkstall Abbey and back as part of the DPL new health and wellbeing programme – many beating their own personal best times.

Dransfield Properties has fielded a team in the race for more than 10 years. This year's run raised more than £200,000 for Age UK – breaking the fundraising record which was set in 2010.

Despite the fog and drizzle the whole team completed the course.

Managing Director at Dransfield Properties, Mark Dransfield, said: "Taking part in the Leeds Abbey Dash is quite a tradition at Dransfield Properties and with the launch of our new health and wellbeing programme even more members of staff took part this year.

"It was a great sense of achievement to do the run and the whole team did really well."
