Dransfield Backs Gainsborough Trinity Football Club

Marshall’s Yard has been unveiled as the new shirt sponsor for Gainsborough Trinity Football Club in an exciting two year deal.

The company, Lincolnshire’s newest shopping and leisure centre, has been named as the shirt sponsor for the next two seasons in a package which is worth £20,000 a year to the club.

Currently mid table in Blue Square North, Trinity regularly attracts crowds of up to 400 fans for home matches – the club is committed to building on that success and developing the clubs youth and community programme.

Gainsborough Trinity’s Director of Football, Peter Swann, said: “We are delighted to announce this sponsorship deal, its great news for the club and great to be working together to take the club forward. We are very pleased to have Marshall’s Yard coming on board and supporting us in this way.”

Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough’s new shopping and leisure development was opened last year by the partnership of Yorkshire based developers Dransfield Properties and Prospect Estates. Dransfield Properties has a long record of supporting football in the community and sponsoring local teams. The shopping centre celebrates its first birthday later this month.

With the new sponsorship deal the club is looking forward to involving youth teams and developing football in the community.
