DPL Sponsored North Ferriby Utd Lift the Doodson Sport Cup

North Ferriby United - sponsored by Dransfield Properties Ltd - won their first ever Doodson Sport Cup at the weekend with a full time score of 4-1 at Eastwood Town's Coronation Park.

Ferriby stormed to an extra-time victory in the League Cup Final at Eastwood Town with goals from Russel Fry, Tim Taylor, Gregg Anderson and Chris Bolder giving them their resounding 4-1 victory.

Dransfield Properties has sponsored the East Yorkshire club for more than a decade and will be backing the side again in the forthcoming season as the Primary Sponsor. Managing Director of Dransfield Properties, Mark Dransfield, was in the crowd to watch the team lift the trophy at the weekend.

He said: "It was great to see the team win on Saturday and we're extremely pleased and proud to be announcing our company as the Primary Sponsor of the club for the next season."

Meanwhile Gainsborough Trinity, who are sponsored by Dransfield Properties' Marshall's Yard shopping centre, face  FC Halifax Town in the Blue Square North Play off semi final, the first leg being held on the Northolme on Wednesday 2nd May, and the second leg being held at the Shay on Sunday 6th May.
