Rachel Joins the Five Valleys Team!

Stroud’s Five Valleys shopping centre has welcomed graduate trainee Rachel Morris to the centre management team this month.
 
Rachel joins the Five Valleys team with a strong background in event management and customer service and will be working with the Five Valleys Centre Manager Dionne Moore as Assistant for Markets and Tenant Liaison.
 
Rachel, who is from Gloucester and studied at Falmouth University will learn about all aspects of centre management as well as playing a key role in driving the success of the popular new Borough Market style indoor market at Five Valleys.
 
The Five Valleys centre has undergone a major transformation over the last 18 months creating new retail and residential space as well as the brand-new market area.  
 
The market’s food traders are permitted to trade through the current lockdown and a new Good Sixty delivery service has also been launched for local shoppers.
 
Rachel is looking forward to taking on her new challenge as part of the Five Valleys team and to working with the centre’s businesses and market traders.
 
She said: “I am really excited to have joined the Five Valleys team, the centre looks fantastic and I’m delighted to be working with all the great businesses and traders here.”
 
The new market has brought a range of high-quality artisan food traders to the heart of the town, including The Artisan Baker, Pershore’s Fisheries, Armadeli and Waghorne’s Butchers, as well as a great line up of food to go traders. 
 
Dionne said: “We are really pleased to welcome Rachel to the team, while many of our stores are currently closed during the lockdown most of our market traders are remain open and trading. 
 
“We are also busy getting prepared for when we can fully re-open the centre and we have lots of exciting news to share later in the spring about further businesses who will be joining us.”
