Free parking and extended opening hours introduced at the Five Valleys indoor Market

8 February 2021

The team at Five Valleys Shopping Centre in Stroud have introduced a number of new initiatives at their indoor market to make essential shopping easier for customers.

Affective from Monday 8th February, the Five Valleys Market will be open from 10am-7pm Monday to Friday, extending the opening hours in the evening to allow visitors more time to shop for their essentials and work around home schooling schedules. Saturday opening hours will remain the same, opening 10am-5pm.

Two hours free parking from 5pm-7pm will also be introduced from 8th February for all customers of the Five Valleys Market. Shoppers who spend a minimum of £5 with any market trader will have their parking fee reimbursed.

And for those who are unable to visit the Five Valleys Market in person, the Five Valleys Market home delivery service, Good Sixty, have now introduced Saturday and Tuesday delivery slots enabling customers to order from the Five Valleys Market Traders at both ends of the week.

A wide range of essential food and food-to-go traders at the Five Valleys Market are permitted to open and operate during the current restrictions including Waghorne’s Butchers, Pershore Seafood, the Artisan Baker, Armadeli, Thai 2 Go, Pieminister and many more.

Three new market traders are also set to join the Five Valleys Market imminently including Southeast Asian food trader, Bao Ma. Further exciting announcements coming soon.

Centre Manager of Five Valleys, Dionne Moore said: “We are always thinking of ways to make shopping easier for our customers, particularly under the current restrictions, and we think by giving customers more time to shop, free parking and weekend home deliveries we have definitely achieved that”

“These new initiatives will come into effect from Monday 8th February and we really hope they will enable people to support their local traders whilst working from home and home schooling!”
