New tenant for Fleetwood

Freezer store for Fleetwood unit

Freezer store for Fleetwood unit

Food outlet Factory Foods has taken one of the units at Carleton Court in Fleetwood leaving just one unit remaining.

Supplying frozen foods wholesale and to the public, Factory Foods is one of 17 outlets in the north west region, with the Carleton Court shop creating eight new jobs.

Originally a single unit occupied by one tenant, the ground floor premises were divided into two smaller units to reflect the demands of the local commercial property market and refurbished to a high standard by owners Dransfield Properties.

The units enjoy prominent frontage to Lord Street and will benefit from the extra footfall generated by the 60,000 sq ft 24 hour Asda at the rear of the property which is due to be completed in Spring 2006.  The street is home to national retailers including Poundstretcher, Ethel Austin, Woolworths and Iceland.

Carleton Court was the first new-build development in Fleetwood for ten years.  It led to further improvements in the quality of commercial stock available in the town and remains one of the highest quality developments.

Lettings are being handled by Rob Markland at Mason Owen on 0151 2423150.

Andrew Malley, Retail Property Director of Dransfield Properties, said: “ I am delighted to welcome our new tenant to the Fleetwood development.  Converting the original unit into two smaller ones has made them more appealing to the local market and I am confident the remaining unit will soon be let.”
