Local business Stanley Hunt Jewellers has signed up for a unit on the Marshall’s Yard development in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.

Established in Gainsborough in 1952, the jeweller has an additional branch in Retford.  The company specialises in fine gold and diamond jewellery and an extensive giftware department sells popular household names such as Lladro, Royal Crown Derby and Royal Doulton.

Richard Hunt, the proprietor, said: “The new development will be a fantastic boost to the many regeneration programmes underway in the town.  This development of shops and offices will put Gainsborough back to its former glory and I can’t wait to share in its success.”

Marshall’s Yard will open its doors to the public next Spring, and bring a host of new retailers to Gainsborough.  Next, M&S Simply Food, New Look, JJB, Claire’s Accessories and Costa Coffee are just some of the leading stores which will feature on the park.

The development will also be home to West Lindsey District Council who are relocating their headquarters to a landmark building on the corner of the site.  A fountain and piazza area will sit at the heart of the development, overlooked by restaurants.
