Dransfield Properties is delivering major improvements to the Five Valleys Centre in Stroud (formerly known as Merrywalks) - creating a new town centre destination.

The first phases of works focused on much needed improvements to the centre’s multi story car park and the King Street area, as well as the mall area.

An indoor Borough Market style indoor market with a range of local food producers and artisans has been created. Retailers at Five Valleys include Sports Direct, Specsavers, Peacocks, JoJo Maman Bebe and Sandersons Boutique Department Store.

There is also a brand new Medical Centre as well as the new town centre library which opened in April 2024.

Major improvements to the centre’s multi story car park and the King Street area have also been delivered.

Thirteen luxury residential properties, including a number of stylish apartments and a townhouse have also been created in the under-used space and brand new offices have been created. The latest office to be completed is now home to the Gloucestershire conveyancing specialists Montpellier Legal.

Dransfield Properties is working in partnership with GFirst LEP and Stroud District Council to deliver this sensitively designed scheme and ensure it fits into the town’s historic fabric.
