Macarons and more on the menu for Josh’s new Stroud business venture

Talented pastry chef Josh Ambridge has expanded his Stroud business this month, with a brand-new venture launched at the town’s Five Valleys centre.
Josh owns and runs the popular instore café at Sandersons Department Store at Five Valleys called Choux Bun Appetit. Now’s he has launched a second business at the centre; Bon Macaron – focussed on his delicious and traditional macarons.
Bon Macaron is based at the centre’s popular food market with 12 different, mouthwatering flavours as well as a range of hot and cold chocolate drinks to take away or enjoy at the centre.
Josh has spent the last three weeks transforming the new unit into a stylish space for Bon Macaron which he’ll head up and run alongside the café business.
Hi business started at the town’s market before expanding to the instore café and now further expanding with the Bon Macaron unit which is just across from the entrance to Sandersons.
Josh started his business through his love of traditional patisserie and creating great flavours. He’ll continue to have a full range of pastry and savoury options at Choux Bun Appetit with a focus on macarons at Bon Macaron. Flavours will include vanilla, cookies and cream and pistachio.
Gift box options will also be available at Bon Macaron and Josh is looking to introduce seasonal changes to the range. The business will run alongside Choux Bun Appetit.
Josh said: “I am really excited to be expanding the business here at Five Valleys with Bon Macaron. Macarons are really popular, and we pride ourselves on using the best ingredients and flavours. Our café will continue to offer the full patisserie range and savoury options – so there really is something for everyone.”
Centre Manager at Five Valleys Erica Malpass said: “We have such a lot happening here at Five Valley just now with new stores opening and more great traders joining our market. We are really pleased that Josh is expanding and joining the market with his new concept and wish him all the very best with Bon Macaron.”
The centre has recently welcomed the fashion brand Peacocks and is also home to the Five Valleys Medical Practice which opened last year as well as Stroud’s new modern library.
Five Valleys is owned and managed by the leading town centre regeneration company Dransfield Properties. The company has transformed the centre into a brand-new mixed-use destination in the heart of Stroud town centre.
