IT experts expand at Penistone 1

Patch My PC UK, formerly known as Apajove, has expanded into a second unit within Penistone 1 with the ambition to carry on growing.

The UK-based provider of IT solutions was founded 12 years ago and has been based at Penistone 1 for the past five years.

Now run by US firm, Patch My PC LLP, the UK team continues to create and supply their software update solutions to help customers from multi-national enterprises to SMEs maintain the security and stability of their distributed application estate.

Due to acquisition and growth plans by Patch My PC, the company has now expanded into a second office taking both unit 2 and unit 16 at Penistone 1.

John Quirk, Director of Development at Patch My PC, said: “We really enjoy working here at Penistone 1. The offices are in a great location for us as it is not only surrounded by beautiful scenery, but it is central for our team who are split throughout the Pennines.”

The expansion is creating several new jobs for Penistone with the company already making a start on recruitment.
