Independent boutique department store to open in Stroud this April

The award-winning independent department store, Sandersons Boutique, is set to open a third store at Five Valleys Shopping Centre in Stroud on April 14th.

 

Fit out work has begun on the new 15, 295 sq. ft store which, once complete, will introduce a wide range of stylish, unique and luxury fashion brands to the area including Barbour, Max Mara, Ugg, Tommy Hilfiger, Jacob Cohen, Holland Cooper, Gran Sasso and many more.

 

The new Sandersons store will also carry a collection of high-end fragrances which the team have sourced from the perfume houses of Europe including Initio, Atkinsons, House of Oud, Histoires de Parfum and Parfum de Marley. 

 

Sandersons is renowned for its organic skincare range and the Stroud store will be no different, with unique and family run skincare brands featured in the beauty department including Voya from Sligo in Ireland who use harvested seaweed in their products, L’Occitane from Provence and the French luxury skincare brand Clarins.

 

The store will also carry a wide range of a handbags, accessories, footwear, giftware, technology, and a fabulous dog accessories area.

 

Upcycled furniture and homewares will be on sale at Sandersons from Bella’s Gone Home, another Notting Hill boutique to join the tenant line up at Five Valleys, who will deliver a range of beautifully restored antique sofas, soft furnishings, lamps, tables, artwork and lots of other unique homewares.

 

The arrival of the department store in April will strengthen the line up at the Five Valleys Shopping Centre which is currently undergoing a major renovation by the award winning South Yorkshire property company, Dransfield Properties Limited.

 

Sandersons was founded in 2016 by the late Deborah Holmes. Her husband, Mark Dransfield, has taken on the role of CEO and is overseeing the company’s latest expansion.

“We will be employing local people to serve the community and our staff will be trained to the highest of standards in order to provide exceptional customer service, backed by product knowledge and training.

“The interior of the new store has been modelled on buildings located in the Meatpacking District of New York, by our award-winning designer, so our customers can expect to shop in a stunning environment when they visit us.
