10 August 2021

Five Valleys Market in Stroud have teamed up with Good Sixty home delivery service and local ethical bike courier, The Bike Drop, to extend the home delivery service to run Tuesdays-Saturdays.

Home deliveries will now be made using eco-friendly cargo bikes five days a week - making it more convenient to shop produce from the Artisan traders at the Five Valleys Market.

Traders at the Five Valleys Market which offer a combined home delivery service are Waghornes Butchers, the Artisan Baker, Fresh Fruit and Veg, Armadeli, Non-Solo Pasta, Pershore Seafood, Pieminister and the Lilypad Florist – making it the perfect one stop shop for weekly groceries and additional treats.

The Good Sixty platform allows shoppers to shop from all of the Five Valleys Market traders in one simple checkout, with zero-emissions home deliveries available to local areas including Stroud, Nailsworth, Minchinhampton, Chalford, Bisley, Slad, Painswick, Stonehouse and more.

Chris Edwards from Good Sixty said: “We’re really excited to be teaming up with The Bike Drop to offer locals many more convenient home delivery slots – from Tuesday to Saturday—when doing their grocery shopping with Good Sixty.

“What’s more, The Bike Drop uphold our core values of providing eco-friendly, ethical alternatives to the diesel-guzzling vans often used by other online supermarket giants. Good Sixty is proud to guarantee a top-notch food service from the Five Valleys market traders to the environmentally conscious foodies of Stroud”.

Centre Manager of Five Valleys, Dionne Moore said: “We are thrilled that our Good Sixty home delivery service has been extended to offer deliveries five days a week, making it much more convenient for locals to support their independent retailers!

“The wide variety of traders on our Good Sixty platform means we offer a unique alternative to supermarket shopping as you can pick up your fresh groceries, ready-made meals, sweet treats and much more!”
