Dransfield Charity Runners Raise Money for Children’s Hospital !

Dransfield Properties has raised more than £14,000 in this year’s Theo’s 10k Run and 2k Charity Fun Run in aid of the Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity.

 Hundreds of runners braved the mud and the rain to take part in this year’s event at Graves Park in Sheffield which is sponsored by the South Yorkshire based property developers.

 It’s the third year running that Dransfield Properties have sponsored the popular annual race and the company has agreed to continue it’s commitment to the event for another three years.

 Money is still being collected from the race but so far the Dransfield total stands at £14,000 which was presented to the hospital charity this week.

 The funds raised from this year’s run will go towards providing Patient Interactive and Education Systems at every child’s bedside at the hospital.

 Dransfield Properties also fielded the winning team this year and the company was presented with the team cup.

 Managing Director of Dransfield Properties, Mark Dransfield, said: “This is a great event and everyone involved did a fantastic job despite the awful weather conditions on the day. We are delighted to be sponsoring the run for another three years, and hoping to keep hold of the team cup next year!”

 Simon Athey, Senior Fundraiser for Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity said “Theo’s 10k Race & 2K Fun Run was again a huge success and we are delighted that so many people took part this year. We are extremely grateful to everyone who helped to make it such a success and special thanks go to our friends at Dransfield Properties for their continued support.”
