DPL TEAM VISIT THE COTSWOLDS FOR LATEST FACT-FINDING TRIP

A team from Dransfield Properties’ award-winning shopping centres has taken part in a fact-finding trip to the Cotswolds - visiting some of the area’s most popular landmarks and retail destinations.

The company’s shopping centre management, operations and communications teams took part in the two-day visit which took in sites at Cheltenham, Bath as well as Stroud where the company is currently investing £25m in a programme of development works to the town’s shopping centre, Five Valleys.

Dransfield Properties is based at Fox Valley in north Sheffield and owns and manages successful shopping centres across the UK, many of which have been recognised in prestigious national awards.

Operations and Communications professionals were joined in the annual fact-finding trip by colleagues from shopping centres including Fox Valley, Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough, Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade and of course the Centre Management team from Stroud’s Five Valleys.

Part of the packed itinerary included a tour of the Medical Centre at Five Valleys which is currently under construction and due to open in the autumn.

The visit was co-ordinated by Dransfield Properties’ Operations Director Medi Parry-Williams. The company prides itself on organising a busy diary of events and works with local partners on high quality markets on all its centres.

Medi said: “This was a great opportunity to visit some of the Cotswold’s best known retail destinations and understand how they work to drive footfall and engage with their customers.

“We work hard to ensure a clean, attractive and welcoming atmosphere on all our centres but we’re never complacent and our teams are always keen to improve the experience for our customers. We’ll now be looking at how we can adapt some of the great ideas we’ve seen across our own centres.”
