Countdown begins as Stroud’s new Sandersons store opens in one month!

15 March 2021

The team behind the new Sandersons Boutique Department store at Five Valleys in Stroud are counting down to the store’s grand opening next month.

It’s just four weeks away from the official opening of the new department store at Five Valleys and the team behind the award-winning company are busy putting the finishing touches to the fabulous interior, ready to start merchandising.

The store will officially open on Wednesday 14th April at 10am, celebrated with a huge ‘golden ticket’ prize draw where one lucky shopper will win a £500 voucher to spend at Sandersons.

The new 15, 295 sq. ft store has been inspired by the architecture of the Meatpacking District in New York and will house a host of new brands to the area. It will be the third Sandersons store in the UK with sister stores in Morpeth and Sheffield.

Stylish, unique and luxury fashion brands will include Barbour, Max Mara, Ugg, Tommy Hilfiger, Jacob Cohen, Holland Cooper and Gran Sasso.

The new Sandersons store will also carry a collection of high-end fragrances not stocked outside of our capital city which include Initio, Atkinsons, House of Oud, Histoires de Parfum and Parfum de Marley.

Sandersons has built up a reputation for its organic skincare range and the Stroud store will feature Voya from Sligo in Ireland who use harvested seaweed in their products, L’Occitane en Provence and the French luxury skincare brand Clarins will also be available.

The store will also carry a wide range of beautiful handbags as well as accessories, footwear, giftware and technology. Upcycled furniture and homewares will be available from Bella’s Gone Home and there’s even a fabulous dog accessories area planned.

Sandersons was founded in 2016 by the late Deborah Holmes. Her husband, Mark Dransfield, has taken on the role of CEO and is overseeing the company’s expansion plans, Dransfield Properties also owns and manages the Five Valleys shopping centre.

Mark Dransfield said: “The store is really starting to take shape now and we can’t wait to open the doors to our first customers in one month’s time.

“We have had such a warm welcome since our company first started working here in Stroud in 2018 and we are extremely proud to be continuing to invest in the area with the new Sandersons Boutique Department Store.”

Sandersons’ Golden Ticket prize draw will run from 14th – 18th April, where every shopper will be entered into a free draw to win a £500 voucher to spend in store. A winner will be chosen at random on Sunday 18th April.

Sandersons joins a host of new companies at Five Valleys which have opened at the centre since its transformation, including a fantastic line up of artisan and food to go traders at the stylish Borough Market style indoor market.
