Award-winning baby brand company expands

An award-winning South Yorkshire company which specialises in breastfeeding and weaning products has expanded – doubling its office size in Penistone.

Pippeta specialises in a fantastic and unique range of products including hands free breast pumps and weaning sets. The company is owned and run by husband-and-wife team Aimee and Giancarlo Cestrone working from the Penistone 1 complex in the South Yorkshire market town.

After moving to Penistone 1 just six months ago the team at Pippeta are now upsizing their office space – moving to a larger unit to give the team room to grow and expand and potentially take on more staff.

Pippeta was founded in 2020 to give more choice to breastfeeding mums, providing a cost effective and handsfree breast pump option which can be integrated into everyday life. The company also sells a range of other mum and baby products including nip cups, milk storage and weaning bundle sets.

The name Pippeta was chosen in memory of Giancarlo’s Grandfather Luigi who called Aimee “Pippeta” as a family nickname.

Giancarlo said: “it’s a lovely way to remember my Grandad, he used to make up these little Italian words and nicknames and he would definitely have called our children Pippeta. It just seemed the perfect name for the company which reflects our Italian roots and family.”

Pippeta has won a number of awards for the company’s innovative products, including the Loved by Parents Gold Award in 2023 and the Made for Mums Award.

Giancarlo added: “We moved to Penistone 1 earlier this year and when the larger office suite became available it was just a great opportunity to have more spaces, so we can have a separate meeting room and also a dedicated area for photography and creating content to engage with our customers. We are so pleased with our new space.”
