Morpeth Markets to take place this November

Morpeth’s outdoor weekly and monthly food markets will be taking place throughout the month of November, starting with the monthly Farmers’ Market taking place this Saturday (7th November) from 9am-3pm.

 
Essential produce and products will be trading as usual at the market, with some non-essential traders operating on a pre-order click and collect service.
 
This Saturday will see the return of Ridley’s Fish & Game, Jimmy the Lamb Man, Geordie Bangers, Bread & Roses, Murphy’s Kitchen and more. 
 
The team behind Morpeth Markets will also host a special Christmas Foodie Market on Saturday 14th November 9am – 3pm with lots of festive food and treats available from a selection of the region’s best traders including Calders Kitchen, Bake for the Soul, Northumbrian Smokehouse, Weardale Cheese, Travelling Bee Company and more. 
 
On Saturday 28th November 9am – 3pm the monthly Street Food Market will return with a wide range of delicious food to go/takeaway options including Phie Pie, The Yolker, Cocina Peru, Halloumi Street Fries and more. 
 
The weekly Wednesday market will operate as usual (essential traders only) on the 11th, 18th and 25th of this month and welcomes back popular trader Julian's Fruit and Vegetables!
 
All markets will be organised to ensure to provide a safe experience for both customers, visitors and traders. A one-way system will be in place as well as other social distancing and COVID-19 control measures. 
 
Centre Manager of Sanderson Arcade, Lottie Thompson said: “We are delighted that our Markets are allowed to take place this month, we hope it will give people something to look forward to and it is a great opportunity to support many of our amazing, local traders”
