Lime Square Welcomes Frozen Food Specialist Farmfoods

Farmfoods has opened the doors to the company's brand-new store at Lime Square in east Manchester. 

The new 8,125 sq. ft. store opened with a special ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday 5th February watched by a crowd of waiting shoppers. The new store can be found in the unit next to Costa Coffee and The Gym Group at the busy east Manchester shopping centre. 

Farmfoods sells a great range of quality frozen food and essential groceries as well as a wide selection of household products. The family run retailer was founded in Aberdeen in 1954 and has 300 stores across the UK. 

The new store opening has created a mixture of 11 full and part time positions at the centre. 

Customers can also visit where they can sign up to receive a £5 voucher off a spend of £50 or more. 

Lime Square is owned and managed by the award-winning Sheffield based property company Dransfield Properties Ltd. 

Estates Director, James Shepherd, said: “Our shoppers have been telling us for some time that they would love to see a good frozen food retailer here at Lime Square and we are confident Farmfoods will be a great addition to the centre.

“The new store looks great and we’d like to wish all the team the very best at the centre and look forward to building on a great relationship.”

The new Farmfoods unit was created from the former Tandy Leather unit and the relocation of shoe retailer Wynsors, the popular footwear store can now be found near Poundland and Greggs at Lime Square.
