Fox Valley delivers a first for south Yorkshire with boutique mother and baby store

The UK’s leading independent mother and baby brand JoJo Maman Bébé is opening the company’s first south Yorkshire store at the new Fox Valley development in north Sheffield.

Founded in 1993 by Managing Director Laura Tenison MBE the award winning company sells a high quality and stylish range of maternity, nursery and baby wear as well as pre-school children’s wear.

Over the last two decades Laura has developed JoJo Maman Bébé from a small start-up to a successful multi-channel company with 75 stores in the UK and trade sales in more than 40 countries across the world.

The company has stores in York and Harrogate in north Yorkshire, and its first north east store opened in 2011 at Sanderson Arcade which was also delivered by the Fox Valley developers Dransfield Properties.

The Fox Valley store will be the first in south Yorkshire and will launch in the second phase of store openings at the new £50 million development in September, when the independent department store Sanderson’s will also open.

The new store will be in one of the stunning new retail units which have been designed around the landscaped peace gardens area at Fox Valley, neighbouring the centre’s new restaurants and coffee shops, which has been carefully designed with family shoppers and visitors in mind.

The Fox Valley JoJo Maman Bébé store will also join other unique retailers including the Cornish women and homewares brand Seasalt; opening its first Yorkshire store in the new town centre development.

Covering 1,000 sq ft the store will stock the stunning, quirky and original range which has earned JoJo Maman Bébé its reputation as the UK’s leading boutique mother and baby brand.

The idea for JoJo Maman Bébé was born in Brittany in France where Laura was running a French property business; she wanted to bring the quirky nautical Breton style to the UK with a range of practical and affordable fashion for mother and baby.
