The Sheffield based health and social care training specialists Inavision are the latest company to announce plans to move to the new Fox Valley development in the north of the city.

Set up in 2011 by Jeni Liversidge and Claire Savage the company has been based at The Arc at Stocksbridge Town Hall for the last four years.

Claire and Jeni, who have over 20 years of experience in the health and social care sector are now looking forward to expanding their business and setting up their own academy in their new 1,615 sq. ft. office at Harry Brearley House at Fox Valley.

For Jeni the move has a special link with her own family history - Harry Brearley who was credited with the invention of Stainless Steel, was Godfather to her Grandad James Liversidge.

Jeni said: “We have been watching the Fox Valley development take shape over the last few months and this is a great opportunity for us to relocate and expand. When we found out that one of the buildings was to be named after Harry Brearley it was a lovely link with my own family history.”

Clare added: “We have plans to offer a wider range of apprenticeships and training courses and launch our own academy here at Fox Valley.

“The new premises we are moving into will give us the perfect space to be able to realise our plans and create a fantastic learning environment for young people in their own community rather than travelling long distances to access the training they need to pursue the next stage of their career.”

Inavision will move in the spring to the company’s new first floor premises above the retail and restaurant units in one of the three new retail blocks currently under construction at Fox Valley.

Dave Hale, development surveyor at Dransfield Properties, said: “Harry Brearley House is definitely the perfect place for Inavision, Jeni and Claire have some great plans for the future and we’re delighted they’re moving forward with those plans here at Fox Valley.”

As well as high spec office space the Fox Valley development will deliver around 32 new retail, café and restaurant units ranging from 635 to 16,000 sq. ft. A new 600 space town centre car park and landscaping are also part of the scheme - Fox Valley will open in spring 2016.

Dransfield Properties has received an investment of £8,111,040 from the Yorkshire and Humber ERDF Programme 2007- 2013, which is managed by the Department for Communities and Local Government to bring forward the Fox Valley project.
