Brand new gym welcomed at Openshaw’s Lime Square

The Gym Group has opened a brand new state of the art gym at Openshaw’s Lime Square in East Manchester.

The leading budget gym chain launched the new facility on Monday (October 20th) with a ribbon cutting and party.

The 15,000 sq. ft. gym is in a key position at Lime Square and aims to make health and fitness facilities accessible and affordable to everyone. 

Rob Neave, General Manager of the new gym, grew up in the local area and is joined by assistant manager Dylan Noble and 12 other personal trainers.

Rob said: “We’ve been really well received here in Openshaw and we’re delighted with the number of members who’ve been keen to join the new gym. The comments and feedback we’ve had so far since we opened on Monday has been fantastic and we look forward to getting to know all our members over the next few weeks.”

Like the other 47 gyms in the group, The Gym Manchester Openshaw offers 24 hour access to at least 153 pieces of brand new equipment in a state of the art gym which is bright, clean and safe. The Gym Group also prides itself on the company’s exceptional customer service, at low prices with no commitment to a long term contract. 

Lime Square has been development by Dransfield Properties, working in partnership with Manchester City Council and New East Manchester. The Gym joins an established retail line up including Morrisons, B&M Stores and Poundland.

The next store to open at the centre is the Portuguese and Mexican restaurant franchise Perito’s. Further announcements about other retailers joining the centre will be made over the next few weeks.
