CJ’s Café Celebrates Second Birthday at Selby’s Market Cross!

The popular CJ’s Café Bar at Market Cross Shopping Centre in Selby is celebrating its second birthday this week!

And staff at the busy town centre coffee shop will be sharing a piece of cake with their customers as a special thank you for all their support since the business first opened in the town.

Run by Dave Lennon the cafe specialises in quality coffees and speciality teas and has gone from strength to strength since the very first cuppa was poured two years ago.

Dave said: “I’d hate to try and work out how many coffees and teas we’ve poured since our doors first opened buts it’s been quite a few. Selby is a really lovely town and we all enjoy working here at Market Cross – we are grateful to all our regular customers and it’s thanks to them that CJ’s continues to be a  success.”

CJ’s birthday will be celebrated on Friday April 7^th – with a piece of cake for  customers – while it lasts!

Development surveyor for Dransfield Properties, the owners of Market Cross, David Hale, said: “CJ’s is a great success story, they are a great independent local company and we are delighted that they are celebrating their second anniversary at the centre.”

The centre is currently undergoing an improvement and investment programme. The attractive new limestone frontage feature was completed in March and several new shop fronts have also been installed in recent months.
