Market Cross pharmacy re-branded as Boots!

The chemists at Market Cross in Selby has been re-branded as Boots with a newly fitted out store and a wider range of goods and services.

The 1,445 sq ft unit at the popular town centre shopping centre now has a brand new look following the merger of Alliance with Boots - involving most of the Alliance and Moss pharmacies. The new stores are known as "Your Local Boots Pharmacy."

More than £60 million has been committed across the country on rebranding the pharmacies - including the one at Market Cross - with a smart new look.

The rebranding programmes has been rolled out at pharmacies over the last two years. It's aimed at bringing together the best of Alliance Pharmacy and Boots the chemist to create a new community pharmacy.

Staff at the Selby pharmacy say the new look has gone down well with customers who can also use their Boots advantage cards in the pharmacy.

Development Surveyor for Dransfield Properties, David Hale, said: "We are delighted with the new look of the Boots pharmacy at Market Cross, the new store offers customers a wider range of services and products and shoppers are delighted with the changes."
