Qualification for Dransfield Properties surveyor

23 July 2007

Dransfield Properties surveyor David Hale has graduated from Nottingham Trent University securing a Bsc (Hons) in planning and property development.

David spent his university year out with the Barnsley-based urban regeneration specialists, and returned at the beginning of this summer after completing his degree.

One of David’s key responsibilities will be to act as lead surveyor on Dransfield Properties’ Market Cross shopping centre in Selby - set to be the focus of a £16 million regeneration scheme later this year.

During the following 12 months he will have to demonstrate areas of professional competence to the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, after which he will  become an accredited chartered surveyor.

Former Birkdale pupil David got a taste for working in the property industry at an early age, undertaking a two week work experience placement at Dransfield Properties while studying for his A levels.

David said: “It’s great to be back at Dransfield with a formal qualification under my belt, and I’m looking forward to playing a bigger role in the company’s numerous urban regeneration projects underway throughout the country. The degree has given me a great deal of knowledge about the world of property , but now the real work is about to start, delivering results in the industry.”
