JJB now open at Marshall's Yard, Gainsborough
JJB at Marshall’s Yard, Gainsborough, opened its retail store to the public this Saturday, attracting hundreds of shoppers over the weekend.
The store has created 30 jobs and is home to some of the leading brands in the world of sport including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Slazenger and Umbro, stocking clothes, footwear and equipment for football, basketball, table tennis, darts, cycling , boxing and more.
The store is located at first floor level, as the ground floor will house a health and leisure club. JJB has been rolling out the duel concept stores across the country and they are proving to be very popular with the customers as the efficient use of space allows them to maintain a low membership for the health and fitness club.
The health and fitness club, which will open ahead of schedule on 2 June, will have aerobic studios, state of the art fitness equipment, 25 metre swimming pool, steam room, Jacuzzi and juice bar. A flexible rate of membership options is available and anybody interested in membership can follow the links on www.marshallsyard.co.uk to pre-register.
John Davidson, JJB Store Manager, said: “Saturday was extremely busy and a very positive start for us. The people of Gainsborough are excited that they finally have a sports store in the town!”
Richard Hill, Marshall’s Yard Centre Manager, said:” With many people adopting an exercise regime as part of a healthy lifestyle, I am sure the JJB retail store will continue to be busy. The health and fitness club is eagerly awaited and once this is open Marshall’s Yard will be a fantastic leisure, as well as retail, destination.”
