Balloon launch winner receives prize

Congratulations to Mrs Eastment of Scunthorpe in Lincolnshire who has won a top of the range satellite navigation system after finding one of the balloons released at the Marshalls Yard launch event in May.

Over 1000 green and white balloons were released from the Marshalls Yard site by Gainsborough MP, Edward Leigh, with tickets attached inviting people to fill out their details for entry into a prize draw.  Balloons were found as far afield as Aberdeenshire and Orkney but  Mrs Eastment’s ticket came out of the hat first to win the prize which was supplied by Halfords, one of the retailers on the Marshall Yard development.

Mrs Eastment was presented with her prize by Dransfield Properties’ PR Manager Lindsay McLaren after being given a tour of the Marshalls Yard site. 

Mrs Eastment said: “This is a fantastic prize as I am always getting lost.  It has been great to see the progress on Marshalls Yard and I’m looking forward to coming back here when it is completed to do my shopping.”
