More Traders Join Stroud's New Artisan Market
Stroudís new indoor market at the Five Valleys shopping centre welcomed the first of a host of new artisan traders this week.
The Artisan Baker headed by Ori Hellerstein is the latest talented trader to join the line up at the Borough Market style market which is part of the major transformation of the Five Valleys shopping centre.
The fabulous new bakery and store was unveiled on Thursday (September 24th) stocking delicious organic and high quality breads from all corners of the world.
Ori has already built up a wide following at the townís weekly Stroud Farmerís Market for his bread, savouries and cakes where heíll continue to stand alongside his permanent Five Valleys stall.
The Artisan Bakerís opening will be followed by Waghornes Butchers on 6th October then later in the month by Xocolatl, Pershores Fishmongers and The Lily Pad Florist.
Ori said: ďEveryone has worked so hard to get the shop and kitchen ready for our customers and it is great to be open and to be here as part of the Five Valleys market alongside so many other great local businesses.Ē
TV personality and retail guru Mary Portas was among the first to visit Oriís new businesses for the opening.
Centre manager at Five Valleys Dionne Moore said: ďWe are delighted to see The Artisan Baker now open and trading, the unit looks fantastic and Oriís products are fantastic.
ďItís going to be a really exciting month for us during October now as we welcome more great new traders to our market line-up.Ē
The market is also hosting a monthly night market on the last Friday of every month, with the marketís food to go traders opening for last food orders until 8pm.
