Hay’s Travel to re-open at Market Cross
The UK’s largest independent Travel Agent, Hay’s Travel, will re-open the doors to their store at Market cross on Thursday 25th June, following a 13-week closure due to the lock-down.
The Selby store will open from 9.15am tomorrow and the team will be focussing more on booking future holidays, with many coming with the company’s Peace of Mind Guarantee – if you need to cancel or change for any reason up to six weeks before departure, you can have a full refund with no cancellation charges.
The team have introduced a number of social distancing measures to keep customers and staff safe, including a limited capacity in store and Perspex screens at the consultant’s desks. Virtual appointments are also available via telephone, email or zoom.
Several other stores have re-opened at Market Cross over the past two weeks following the new government guidelines. These include The Works, Costa, J&B Flowers, Inner Vision Opticians, EE and many more.
Hair Innovations have also announced that they will resume their services on Saturday 4th July.
Alison Shipperbottom from the Market Cross team said: “It has been an undoubtedly tough time for everyone in the travel and tourism industry but we are delighted to welcome Hay’s Travel back to Market Cross and we wish them the very best!”
Hay’s Travel at Market Cross will open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9.15am-5pm.
