The Works to open new store at Selby's Market Cross

The popular book and stationery retailer The Works have announced they’ll be opening a brand new store at Selby’s Market Cross shopping centre next month – just in time for the busy Christmas period.

The new 2,798 sq. ft. store will open in November in a unit which was previously occupied by Brighthouse, next door to Cooplands and J&B Flowers at the busy shopping centre 

The Works sells a wide range of gifts as well as art and craft materials, books, toys, games and stationery and has more than five hundred stores across the UK and Ireland.

The new store will open on Friday 1st November–  just in time for the busy Christmas shopping period.

The Works serves more than 22.5 million customers each year – including families and people of all ages. The stores stock a fantastic range of products at great prices, from education products to gift ideas.

The Works sells more than 40,000 different products every year with an ethos of stocking a wide variety of goods at great prices. 

Market Cross is owned and managed by the Sheffield based property company Dransfield Properties. 

The news of The Works joining the line-up comes as the company has just announced a major investment programme in the centre including new first floor apartments and the relocation of Hair Innovations to a new ground floor retail unit.
