New Market Cross tenants open for business

Talk Mobile and Alexander Cards, the latest tenants to take units in Market Cross Shopping Centre, are now open and trading in their newly fitted out premises.

Phone retailer Talk Mobile has opened in a kiosk fronting onto Gowthorpe, and newsagents and gift specialists Alexander Cards has taken a unit opposite In Shops.

Talk Mobile is an independent company which began operating in 2004.  Alexander Cards previously traded in In-Shops.

Dransfield Properties bought Market Cross earlier this year, with plans to upgrade the centre and fill the empty units.  A schedule of improvements is well under way, and a tenant found for the one remaining empty unit.
