Department store team shortlisted in top retail awards

The team from Sandersons Department Store in north Sheffield travel to London on Wednesday (September 11th) for the annual Drapers Independent Awards.

The Fox Valley store has been shortlisted for two of the prestigious industry awards which are organised every year by the leading fashion and retail publication.

Sandersons has been chosen as one of ten shortlisted retailers in the “Best New Retailer” category as well as also being shortlisted for “Best Customer Experience.”

The team will find out in a special award ceremony on Wednesday lunchtime if they’ve been successful.
Since opening in September 2016, the team at Sandersons have continued to uphold the company’s ethos set out by Founder and Managing Director Deborah Holmes, who sadly passed away in January this year.

Deborah’s husband and Managing Director of South Yorkshire property company Dransfield Properties, Mark Dransfield, will be attending the award ceremony along with their daughters Rebecca and Lucy and members of the Sandersons team.

The store has just launched its new Wellness Spa and Organics skincare area – offering a fabulous range of treatments from Clarins, SKN-RG and Voya.

The buying team at Sandersons are also constantly working to introduce new brands to the area, to ensure a wide mix is available in store. New brands which have been introduced over the last twelve months include Clarins, Barbour International men’s wear and Hobbs Occasion wear for ladies.
