Savers to Open in May at Lime Square

The popular health, home and beauty chain Savers opens its new east Manchester store at Lime Square next month.

The new 3,347 sq. ft. store will open on Friday May 3rd creating 11 new jobs in the area, with 3 Sales Assistant positions still available – the roles can be applied for via browsing the Savers career site at www.savers.jobs.

The new store is located near to Poundworld and Card Factory at the busy shopping centre which is on Ashton Old Road in Openshaw.

Savers prides itself on offering fantastic deals on a wide range of top-quality brands. Founded in 1988 the company opened its first store in Durham and now has more than 400 across the UK and employs over 3,000 people.

The company was recently placed 4th in the Sunday Times Best Big Companies to Work for in 2019 and reaching a top spot in The Best Companies to Work for survey in Northern Ireland.

Lime Square is home to a retail line up including Morrisons, The Range, Wynsors Shoes and B&M Bargains as well as food to go outlets and coffee shops including Costa Coffee and McDonalds.

Lime Square is owned and managed by Dransfield Properties Ltd.  Estates Director, James Shepherd, said: “We are delighted that Savers are joining the line up at our Lime Square development in east Manchester, bringing another great reason to shop at the centre.

“We have created two new units in the former Mattressman store at Lime Square and will be making an announcement soon about the retailer taking the second unit.”
