Team at Gainsborough’s new hotel prepare for November 1st opening
The hotel chain Travelodge is preparing for the official opening of their new Gainsborough hotel which takes place on Thursday November 1st.
Travelodge is one of the largest hotel chains in the UK and next week will open the doors to its first guests in the new 56 room hotel which can be found in the heart of Gainsborough.
As well as the new hotel, the development has delivered major improvements to the town’s Roseways Car Park and delivered a stunning new ground floor restaurant space which is currently being marketed to potential occupiers.
Dransfield Properties and West Lindsey District Council are working in partnership to transform this part of the town which also involves refurbishing run down shops in the area and creating a new Independent Quarter.
The hotel has been designed in an Edwardian style by the same team of architects who worked on the Marshall’s Yard development which celebrated its 10th birthday during 2017.
Amanda Holmes, Communications Director for Dransfield Properties said: “It’s fantastic to see the new hotel now completed and ready to welcome the first guests. The building looks fantastic and it is going to be a great asset for the town, it’s made a huge difference to this key site in Gainsborough and delivering the hotel which the town has long needed.
“We’re still marketing the restaurant unit at the ground floor and also working on the beautiful waterwall feature which is going to look really stunning when it’s competed.”
