DPL team take fact finding retail visit to the capital
A team from Dransfield Properties’ award winning shopping centres has taken part in a fact finding trip to London - visiting some of the capital’s most popular markets and retail destinations.
The company’s shopping centre managers, surveyors and communications team took part in the two day visit which took in venues including Borough Market, Columbia Road Flower Market as well as the capital’s famous retail destinations Oxford Street and Regent Street.
Dransfield Properties is based at Fox Valley in north Sheffield and owns and manages successful shopping centres across the UK, many of which have been recognised in prestigious national awards.
Property management professionals were joined in the annual fact-finding trip by colleagues from shopping centres including Fox Valley, Marshall’s Yard in Gainsborough and Lime Square in east Manchester as well as Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade.
Part of the packed itinerary included a volunteer stint at Summer Streets - an annual traffic free festival of events organised on London’s Regent Street.
The visit was co-ordinated by Dransfield Properties’ Operations Director Medi Parry-William. The company prides itself on organising a busy diary of events and works with local partners on high quality markets on all its centres.
Medi said: “This was a great opportunity to visit some of London’s best known retail destinations and understand how they work to drive footfall and engage with their customers.
“We work hard to deliver a great programme of events at our centres but we’re never complacent and our teams are always keen to improve the experience for our customers. We’ll now be looking at how we can adapt some of the great ideas we’ve seen across our own centres.”
