Marathon runner Jodie completes charity challenge

Dransfield Properties accountant Jodie Goulden joined the 40,000 plus runners who took part in the London Marathon at the weekend.

Jodie has been training over the last few months since hearing she had secured a spot in the annual and managed to complete the tough 26.2 mile course in an impressive 5 hours 11 minutes and 2 seconds.

It’s the first time Jodie has taken part in the iconic event which attracts thousands of runners every year and she has raised an impressive £2,500 for the Children’s Hospital Charity.

The keen runner is part of the Dransfield Properties accounts team based at the property company’s head office at Fox Valley in north Sheffield.

Jodie said: “It was a fantastic atmosphere to be part of the and something I have wanted to do for a long time – I’d like to thank everyone who has sponsored me, I’m delighted to have raised such a great amount of money for a great local charity.”

Head of Communications at Dransfield Properties, Amanda Holmes, said: “We’re all really proud of our colleague Jodie – it’s a fantastic achievement.”
