New festive displays unveiled at DPL centres

The festive lights display at Dransfield Properties’ new Fox Valley development in north Sheffield was unveiled on Friday with a seven metre high reindeer as the centre piece.

The new display has been designed by Fizzco and also includes an eight metre Christmas tree as well as an illuminated bow and stunning festive garlands around the centre’s hooped windows.

The display was unveiled in a Switch On event at Fox Valley on Friday. The company’s Marshall’s Yard and Sanderson Arcade developments also launched their brand new festive displays over the weekend to mark the start of the Christmas shopping period.

Marshall’s Yard also has an illuminated reindeer as a striking Christmas centre piece as well as featuring red bows on some of the shop fronts and along the centre's striking Britannia House.

At Sanderson Arcade the Edwardian style gallery has been decked with festive garlands and swags as well as a large Christmas tree in the piazza area at the centre and a red bow at the Bridge Street entrance to the centre.

The new Dransfield Properties development neighbouring Sanderson Arcade which opened earlier this year and includes Next, Pets at Home and Home Bargains has also been included in the festive display at the centre.

Well attended events were staged across all three centres to mark the Lights Switch-Ons. The festive display at Lime Square in Openshaw will be switched on this weekend on Saturday 26th November.

Head of Communications at Dransfield Properties, Amanda Holmes, said: “Its lovely to see our centre’s lit up and ready for Christmas and we are delighted with the festive displays. It is our first Christmas at Fox Valley in Sheffield so it is particularly nice to have had so many lovely comments about the decorations – particularly our lovely centrepiece.”
