Filipa takes on new role at Sanderson Arcade in Morpeth

Events and production graduate Filipa Conceicao has joined the team at Morpeth’s Sanderson Arcade – taking on the role of Assistant Centre Manager.

Filipa, who is 28, and a graduate from Teeside University has experience of working on a number of events across the north east including the Sage Jazz Festival.

She will be working alongside the centre manager Medi Parry and will be helping to deliver the town’s busy diary of events – including the Morpeth Food and Drink Festival which takes place on October 1st.

Filipa is taking over the role from Zoe Christopher who is leaving the Arcade to take up a new marketing opportunity in Newcastle.

She said: “I am really excited to be joining the team at Sanderson Arcade and look forward to playing a key role in the many successful events which are organised here in Morpeth.

“This is a lovely time to be joining the company and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to play a part in promoting the Arcade and Morpeth as well as learning more about all aspects of shopping centre management.”

Centre Manager Medi added: “We are really pleased to welcome Filipa to the team, she has some great ideas and lots of enthusiasm for working on events in our lovely town.

“This is without a doubt the busiest time for events with our Food Festival next month followed of course by the Christmas Lights Switch on in November and Filipa will have the opportunity to get involved in all these events.”
