Dransfield agrees new sponsorship deal with North Ferriby United

Dransfield Properties has announced the company is once again supporting the East Yorkshire football team North Ferriby United for the 2014/15 season.

The move cements a relationship between the club – known as The Villagers - and the South Yorkshire based retail property specialists which has spanned more than 15 years.

North Ferriby, were promoted to the Conference North in 2013 and two months into this season the club currently sits in seventh position out of 22 clubs in the league.

Although based in Barnsley Dransfield Properties has close links with Hull and East Yorkshire where many of the firm's high profile schemes have been completed over the last 20 years.

The company's Managing Director Mark Dransfield also has close personal links with the club - having played for North Ferriby's reserve side as a teenager in the 1980s.

Dransfield Properties had a break from sponsorship last year but the company is delighted to renew its association with North Ferriby for the present season.

Mark said: "We’ve always taken a close interest in the club and been impressed by the hard work and commitment of everyone involved. We are delighted to be back on board as a sponsor and look forward to a really successful year for the club.”

Club Chairman Les Hare said: "It’s great to have Dransfield Properties back on board as a sponsor of North Ferriby, everyone is delighted to have the company’s support and involvement for the 2014/15 season.”
