 Leading budget gym chain, The Gym Group is coming to Openshaw and opening a brand new gym at the Lime Square Retail Park on Monday 20th October.

The 15,000 sq ft new gym is part of a major regeneration scheme that completed its final phase of construction in August.

The Gym Group’s mission is to make health and fitness facilities accessible and affordable to everyone.  Like the other 47 gyms in the group, The Gym Manchester Openshaw will offer what members say that they need and want: 24 hour access to at least 153 pieces of brand new equipment in a fully refitted state of the art gym that is bright, clean and safe, plus offers exceptional customer service, all at prices as low as £10.99 a month with no commitment to a long term contract. 

Rob Neave, who has been appointed as General Manager, comments: “I’m really excited to be working with the Openshaw community to help them reach their fitness goals.  I grew up in the local area and captained Rochdale Rugby Team for the last four years.  With the help of my Assistant General Manager, Dylan Noble, we’re keen to support the local regeneration scheme and boost local employment.  In the run up to opening, we will be hiring 12 Personal Trainers to join our team and also offering work experience positions.”
