Site Constructive Update - Morpeth

Work is now well underway on the site of the new supermarket at Low Stanners in Morpeth. The main contractors Tolent are continuing working on the substation and the bulk excavation works. Demolition on site is now complete and work to the retaining wall foundations has started. Diversion to the Cotting Burn is also starting this week (w/c 20th February)

Bridge Streets works are continuing and Tolent have been  working in conjunction with NCC,  Northumbria Water as well as the utilities whop are working in the area at the present time.

Tolent have established site offices in the Red Bull Public House.

The new store is scheduled to open early in 2013. Work has also started on the new Veterinary Centre, the practice currently on Staithes Lane is being relocated to new purpose built premises at Whorral Bank in Morpeth as part of the development plans.
